Just released: my new iPhone game

I’ve written a new game, Boomshine, for the iPhone/iPod touch, which has just become available in the App Store.
It’s a fully authorized recreation of the original Boomshine game that took the web by storm last year, which you can still play at k2xl.com. Here’s the official description:
Boomshine is an addictive casual game. Touch the screen to start a chain reaction an try to explode as many dots as needed to pass a level. The game contains 12 levels ranging from the easy to the hard (25 tries on average to beat level 12).
It was a lot of fun to write, and Danny Miller, the author of the original Boomshine, was a great help in putting it together and getting the gameplay to match the original as closely as possible. If you have an iPhone or an iPod touch, I hope you’ll try it out; it’s highly addicting, and great fun.
Click here to open iTunes and view Boomshine in the app store.

Hello,
My wife and I were addicted to the flash version, and I was hoping there’d be one for iPhone.
One request: it appears that if music is turned off, then so are the sound effects. It’d be nice to keep the sound effects without the music, like in the flash version.
Thanks,
Matt

After having played this game 12-15 times, it suddenly does not work anymore. After a few seconds of the “Loading…” screen, it just exits to the iPhone menu.
I have rebooted my iPhone 3G 8GB and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It just does not work anymore.
Any help?
Jacob (Great name, my compliments to your parents),
Does the iPhone have network access? Boomshine makes a quick “phone home” when it launches in order to get the number to display for the number of players screen. Not being able to get to the network shouldn’t cause any problems, but it’s the only variable condition I can think of during launch.
Also, you might consider deleting Boomshine from your iPhone and then reinstalling it from iTunes.
I have the same problem and I did the delete and reinstallation
…it worked once and did not work again. I tried later and it worked but then after doing other things I came back to Boomshine and it would not come up. What now?
Jacob (What great parents we have),
the phone did have network access, but now the problem has disappeared overnight. Don’t know why.
Now, back to Boomshinin’. Thanks for a great game
It has happened again. This time I tried deleting and reinstalling from iTunes. The game still does not work.
Crashes at loading screen. I have tried reinstalling 2x. Also redownloading a new copy and reinstalling. I have over 60 apps that work fine this is one and only app I have problem with. Support page listed in app store does not exsist. Any suggestions? thanks much but Boomshine does Not Work.
To everyone who’s having issues with Boomshine: I will be submitting a fix to the App store soon, which will be available as soon as Apple approves it. I’m very sorry for the issue. Thanks for your patience.
